Gaming it up

The weather is getting warm and nice and light is returning with full force - and I hate to admit that it makes me feel so much more energetic. But I guess that's just a natural reaction.

Pretty light and cloudsss.

I finally dug out my Vespa from the basement and fixed the initial start-up problems. I still need to get some more practice, but it is really bloody funny and refreshing.

I went to Copenhagen Games because a bunch of my people came. It was a little awkward but still a good time - I spent an unreal amount of time playing table tennis and football. So yea, no computer games for me... The international guests were very nice and Silas tried to explain LoL to me, haha!

The Easter experience

Easter came and with it we had a break from uni. Or so we were let to believe. I spent a lot of it reading A BUNCH OF ACADEMIC STUFF, but thankfully I'm really interested in my subject.
We only went to one family dinner because I was kept busy, and it was so nice to see my cousins.

My parents gave me the most delicious Easter chocolate though. I just finished eating the last piece, yumyummmm.
My cherry blossom tree also came out to say hi slowly through these past weeks. I always forget how quick they go from "almost there" to "HELLO WORLD".

Cutiiiiie birdiiiiie. Also, I spontaneously cut off about 20 cm of my hair, because I was slightly bored and frustrated about my uni reading... So yea, not the most though-out plan. But! I am so happy I did it - it's suddenly so incredibly light and I can still do all the same styles. (My baby-hair-that-keeps-getting-thicker-and-longer is getting ridiculous though. I have a fringe bc of it....)

Last photo was taken today, it's in full bloom now!

I went to the premiere of The Amazing Spider-man 2. It was a gala and a bunch of reality stars and other VIPs were there, super weird. But the ticket came with a bunch of freebies and mini-burgers !
Boy did I cry! And the visual effects were absolutely stunninnnnnng! Electro's powers looked amazing and the final battle location reminded me of Tron Legacy (which is a good thing)!

Before going to the theatre, I went to a Disney CM meeting where we were introduced to the new Star Wars line. Spiderman started running on the trees, such nice timing!
Imperial had dolled up their space with electrical shifting lights, upside-down photo op location and other cool stuff! + a bonus massive ad.

Food comes springing

Post-con life has been good. I've managed to escape the convention flu and after a few rough days with a tired body I started getting my energy back. I met up with Stine and her baby girl (not pictured, asleep) for a heavenly brunch in the city and continued relaxing with the girls on Stine's sofa.

My guests during J-popcon bribed us with delicious cakes and after going sugar-free for a month I just had to eat one after a long walk one evening. That first bite was unbelievable.

Our order from BH cosmetics finally arrived, and only one eye shadow was damaged. I ordered 1 120 palette, the galaxy palette and 5 different eye glitters - I've been wanting those for a very long time. I've already experimented with all of my new shades, but it's going to take a while to fully remember the good colour combinations hahah.

I found a Jane figurine on eBay and since she was super cheap, being a Gashapon, I bought the Esmeralda as well - I got her for free because I got her price subtracted from the shipping price.

They are super gorgeous and I'm happy with my purchase. It's been years since my last figurine buy (not counting Toy Story merchandise) and it's a funny that they're not anime figurines like my old ones...

Abena asked if I wanted to join some friends for a Wagama event that would give us free admission and attractions to Tivoli and of course I just had to accept her invitation.

We got sat down early and ate quickly, so we got some hours with sunlight in the theme park.

Stine is the tiniest girl (she was crouching, don't worry - but she's still very short). And that house is calling for a photo shoot.

Selfie with one of the peacocks. It's kind of like Where's Wally? when you visit the park...

I don't think I'd eaten candy floss in 10 years...

Pretty lights and favourite attraction.

They bloody won one of those chocolates. I've never seen anyone do that irl - it was kind of surreal haha. But a great way to end the evening!
