Double A

My winter break concluded with a long weekend in Aalborg! I flew over there from Kastrup Airport Friday and went home Sunday evening. It was so nice to just fly over instead of taking the train - it would have taken 4 hours or something! With airplanes the distance is only about 45 minutes.

The gorgeous Terminal 1. And fancy who I met - Allan, also on his way to Aalborg. This was not that big of a chocker though, sincethe dominant reason for my going there was Sascha and Astrid's 42th birthday party! And Allan was also an invitee.

Astrid came to pick me up in the airport and when we reached home, I locked her out. Much to her displeasure. But after a long walk in her sorrounding nature, all was well again. We spent the evening watching the series 4 finale of Doctor Who, and it had me sobbing like a lady. I was beautiful.. or so Astrid told me. Apparently red faces intrigue her.

Saturday we went to Louise's dad's house to make the side house pretty and circus-y. Because the birthday party was themed! The girls had worked hard with all the decorations and they were so pretty!

My here-is-what-I-have-in-my-closet circus outfit. Somewhat ringmaster inspired - like a LOT of us. Sascha and I were each others opposites! Where I was red, she was black and the other way around.

Gorgeous party people.

And after eating tortillas we started the party! Dancing, drinking and chatting with 110 km/h.

Gabi looking splendid in HER ringmaster outfit + a ghost kiss haha.

CHEEEEEEEERS.

Drinking game! Line had to unzip her dress, haha! And Nadia was so hot.

Lovely girlies.

One of Astrid's presents came in a Mario box, and she was very confused. But when she opened it one of her dream dresses since 3 years ago appeared before her and she started crying out of sheer happiness. Which meant Liv and Kristine to the cheer-up rescue!

Opening presents!
I gave Sascha some Disney Couture jewellery along with Emma and Kristine and she was sooo happy about it! She had actually been looking at the ring herself, so we hit a good spot.

Forever alone was hung up in the toilet, haha!

Brilliant cakes! The rabbit one was a carrot cake (pun intended?) and the Final Fantasy was made of delicious chocolate!

I borrowed Emma's mobile phone and prank texted her boyfriend, haha.

Everyone suddenly had red kiss marks... Don't look at me!

But in the end we were kind of wasted and Astrid, Gabi and I took a taxi (Kennyyyy) home.

We spent the day after by going to a café and visiting the left-over crew at Sascha and Kenny's apartment! I had not seen their place before, so I was surprised about the scale of it!

Icy Disney

SO. The Winter break from school took place last week. With my parents shipped off to Sri Lanka I was really glad to have something to look forward to! Namely the Disney On Ice show that I'd won tickets for in a in-store Cast Member contest! I was ECSTATIC when I found out because I'd been looking for someone to go with, but no one had the means this particular month... but now I got to go with 7 of my lovely Disney folks! Aaaaaaand we had semi-front row seats! It was so amazing!

The show was the brand new Princesses and Heroes that showcase a kind of résumé of some of the loved Disney Classics presented by Tinkerbell!

They started off with Aladdin, which made all of us jump in our seats in excitement - who does not love Aladdin?! But we were a bit surprised to see the different ethnicity of the characters... suddenly, chinese! But it was all good.

Oh, and these first 4 shots are by Bjørn since I deleted ALL PHOTOS on my camera by mistake and therefore also the Aladdin ones... Well done, Liv!

Snow White and the oh-my-goodness-you-are-cute-and-oversized-dwarfs.

how to make an animated gif

Bell with the enchanted flower (shhh, do not tell anybody that she actually should not be able to touch it!) and the... walking forks and napkins and spoons... and darling Lumière.

Eric being hardcore and hanging with his bros! The greeting he gave them when arriving on the skating rink was hilarious - so street, haha! And the guys really did some crazy stunts.

Oh no, the tide is coming in! Which brings us over to... Sebastian!

All of Triton's lovely daughters appeared... but one. Until she of course appeared. And did some fantastic skating.
I really liked the way they had made the mermaid costumes! Finns and all but still two-legged.

Under the sea... dududu duu du... Under the sea... With strange fishy and octopus-y creatures and a BIG Flounder!

Then came the intermission! Which of course meant.. SHOPPING. We bought some slush ice in King Mickey cups and Disney on Ice Mickey caps, since my Mum threw my black one from the opening out by mistake :(
And yes, I am utterly aware of the fact that we look immensely touristy with our cameras and merchandise and my Minnie shirt...

They had SO MANY shops with the items, it was quite dizzy-making, haha.

OMNOMNOM. Back to the seats, people!

The show has started once more! Ariel gives away her voice to Ursula, but gets the guy all the same!

A little bit of Pixie Dust... and there is Tiana! And she is almost there... This show is the first On Ice with Tiana in it, so I was really happy to see her there. It was soooo nice with a little bit of funky jazz.
Oh and that last shot is by Bjørn again.

And then... Maleficent came along! She stormed out on the rink and I completely fangirled like some 5-year-old. Quite embarrassing really, but she is just so wicked! Plus - her costume was so well-made! The way the fabric moved was mesmerizing.
But of course Prince Philip was rescued by the three fairies and...

... he had to fight his way through the thorns! This was a very good solution - the men with thorn-patterned suits to create the illusion. I love when people get these kind of easy and splendid ideas!

And then Maleficent turned all dragon on us and the ice was on fire. I still have no idea how they managed to ignite it...

Liiiights and maaagic and faiiiiiries.

Aurora is awake, Goofy has changed and we are all invited to a ball at the castle!

Hi there, Cindy!

Glittery shoesss - I love when they care for details! And gosh, all of those lifts!

Mickey and Minnie all changed for a party... And lights... strange, yellow lights... no, lanterns! This means Rapunzel!

Grand finale! With everyone on the rink all dolled up in fancy dress.

And fireworks!

Byeeeeeeee byeee! See you this summer in Paris ! Naveen and Rapunzel absolutely waved at me and I was suddenly all over the place in my happiness, haha.

What I woreeee. You guys like my new haircut??
I actually really like this golden hat, since it matches my hair better than the black one, haha!

Pictures of my buys and a polaroid to remember the sweet times by...
