Loony 2000

Today my Nimbus 2000 gracefully flew up to my room and placed itself right above my bed, amazingly visible from my seat at my desk.
Haha, I wish! No, it even says on the packing-box that "this broom does not fly". But my parents and I hung it from the ceiling.

It's a beauty! I actually did look at it for half an hour today. Just laying on my bed, reading The Goblet of Fire and looking over the book every 5 second to look at my pretty broomstick.

I can't wait for the premiere of the last movie... Just thinking about it makes goosebumps appear. I'll be going as one of my favourite characters: Luna Lovegood!

Dream of Paris

I just wanted to spam you darlings with my happiness. I really love working in Disney.

With that said I will now tell you that my favourite part of the Store's day is around the closing hour. Which may sound a bit odd, I know. But I love the transformation of the Store - every thing turns blue and the moon and stars appear. You see, I've always loved the night sky.
(The following 5 photos are taken off disney-cph.com)

I also neglected to inform you that I took place in the Opening Ceremony on the Grand Opening. That is my insanely happy face just there. Our special opening-child was so adorable - I showed her around the Store and put her in the Sleeping Beauty dress before the opening. She was so baffled by all the magical things around her - so cute!

Me and my fellow Cast Members. We look splendid, if we say so ourselves. I have been called a poser though, haha.

Apparently I excel in regars to the magic mirror. Or at least I've been spending a lot of time there. Perhaps it's because the picture on the right was in the newspapers..?

And now to something completely different:

I. AM. GOING. TO. PARIS.

I'm participating in this year's Japan Expo. I'm looking so much forward to it! And right now I'm working on my Paprika cosplay. The con is holding a memorial for Satoshi Kon, R.I.P., and I wanted to take part somehow. I love his films, but Paprika most of all (dream-thrillers are excellent).

Icy noslagia

My parents took me out to celebrate my turning 18. We went to Wagamama and then to the cinema. I had spent the first half of the day alone and was feeling kind of down for unknown reasons and that really wasn't nice seeing as it was my birthday. But I invited Rikke to tag along with us and my birthday turned out nice after all.

The food there is always pretty delicious. And because we were there early the place was almost empty. Really a nice and calm atmosphere.
That dessert was excellent. But it was good I shared it with Rikke! Otherwise I wouldn't have been able to clear the plate haha.

We saw X-men: first class. I really wanted to see it before it went off the big screens and it was a nice birthday-movie. X-men is something I've been following for the longest time. I remember being a little girl watching x-men: evolution with eyes wide open. I love the characters, their designs and the plot - always have, always will. And this movie was no let-down in any of those aspects.

It was a good movie, but I wasn't blown away. Emma Frost has always interested me and she was maybe the only disappointing thing in the movie - due to my huge expectations.
It was really odd seeing Professor X with moving legs AND hair. But lovely to see a good deal of jokes on the matter throughout the film.
And also... I could not stop thinking "Hannah Montana" every time I saw Lucas Till aka Havok...

On to a whole other matter. I pre-ordered Dear Mr. Potter today!

Longest birthday celebration EVER

As of today I am 18 years old. Which makes me able to vote at elections, to take my driving license and to go clubbing (legally). Saturday I had a birthday party for a bunch of my friends. I think we were 30 people or so.

Astrid came all the way from Aalborg to participate in the Disney Store opening and my party. Bless her! I was so happy that she was there for me. It's so much more fun prepping for a party when someone's there beside you.

The party started at 8 and the last to go went at 4 in the morning. I look upon that as the party being a success!

I had actually planned it to be a garden party. But because of rain in the weather forecast it turned into a indoor + terrace party. But it all worked out fine. It seemed as if people liked the opportunity to go outside.

One of my dear classmates came walking in through my door with that huge package and I nearly fainted haha. I'd jokingly said that if I were to get a Nimbus 2000 broom it would be brilliant to wrap it in just like in the movie. And so she did haha!

My father made a small fireplace and later in the evening we used it to warm our marshmallows! It tasted magnificent! It had been years since I last had melted marshmallows...

There were so many people. And from different parts of mt life. There were friends from my class, from conventions and even from Disney Store! It was really great to see it was possible for all of them to get along.

It's funny how incredibly drunk one (read: me) can look even though I don't drink alcoholic drinks at all... You got to love my friends though. I don't think I look too misplaced in that last picture because of their funny expressions...

I'm just so happy that so many people were able to come.

I took loads of polaroid pictures!

Some babes of mine <3

As you might have been able to read from further up... I received TWO Nimbus 2000 1:1 scale brooms. One from my "anime"-friends and one from my classmates. Which is bloody crazy. I'm so incredibly happy though!!! I've known exactly where to put my Nimbus for months!

So perfectly pretty. I could stare at it for hours haha.

I got so many presents and I love them all! Usually you have to exchange a few but I want none of that. I've got amazing friends...

This morning my parents woke me up with a song and took my downstairs. We always have this huge breakfast table with all the presents stacked up in the middle. My semi-aunt and -uncle was also there.
I got way too many good presents. Comics, a tripod, jewelery, Jane Austen's works... And a trip by flight to where ever I decide. The last one was from my semis and I think that is a humongous gift!

I'm so grateful for all my gifts and all the happy memories I have with my friends and family. I wish for them to continually increase in numbers...

Opening the magic

Today was the grand opening of my dear Disney Store here in Copenhagen. We - the cast members - were so excited! A lot of us couldn't sleep last night because of the butterflies in our stomachs, haha. But when the clock neared 11 AM, we were ready to go!

Here I am, in all my retarded "Hi there!"-glory. Wearing a cute Disney Store Mickey-hat. All the guests just had to stroll down the pixie dust path to see the whole store... I so love the magical trees!

So many people showed up! I'd say about 200 around the time of the opening ceremony. And some people had to wait for 45 minutes in line before entering the store... wow! Lucky to be on the inside, haha.
A lot of my friends showed up to see the store - some in their Disney costumes! So awesome. My fellow cast members were thrilled to see them!! They all thought I had such amazing friends, haha.

My nice fellow cast members. Gosh, that Buzz mask is brilliant!

My friend Zozo drew "herself" and so did Jack Skellington and they gave us the drawings. We're going to hang them on our wall in the Cast room! It'll be fabulous.

We're almost like a family in the store already. After 3 weeks of working together. It's great. Really.

Haha, the light in the Theatre is real nice. You seem to have wicked skin colours!

I bought some items today. With my discount! The "Wonder" fragrance for plushies and such, a Tinker-mug, Dumbo plush and three DVDs I used to watch at friends' houses but now just can't live without owning.

Also, I got 12 (A) on my final exam this year! My summer break has officially begun.
